i made this with so much on my mind..
im going through a lot and i just wanted a way out..
at times art is the only way i can just stop thinking and breath. so pics like this happen..

i got inspired to draw this after watching my little cuz

draw a lily C:
so i dedicate this to her<3

drew it in Paint tool sai
took about 2 1/2 hours
im really happy with the watter, there are just a few things here and there i want to fix.. but i cant figure out how... not to happy with the lily pads ;n; but that was my fourth attempt on em so i gave up..

this pic is absolutely amazing and awesome! the general idea strikes me as great and some specific aspects seem particularly interesting

pros -
- the water responds to its surroundings
- the cat looks realistic even with the human like smile
- the fur is obviously fur
- the flower is brilliantly detailed
- the rule of thirds was used effectively
- the contrast between the background and the cat is quite
brilliant
- The atmosphere
- the water drops look very realistic

cons
although very few
- the cats fur across the whole body should be shinier because the cat would have to be wet to be in such a position beneath the water lily

but this picture is a brilliant picture and is truly an inspiration!

This is amazing, and you really have very few changes to make.

Pros: The cat's eyes are expressive and add lots of emotion to the overall picture. The anatomy is great, and reflects a real cat very well. I think that the color scheme is wonderful also and makes the whole image come together.

Cons: (Very few of these ha ha)
-The water could be slightly more reflective, and have a tiny bit more flow, but I think it looks realisitc overall.
-The cat's fur could have slightly darker shading behind the ear and jowl, just to distinguish the hair a little bit more.

I love this piece and hope this critique seems fair!
