First of all, this is stunning!

I'm going to start with the flaws.
I suck at anatomy, so the only thing I can give an acceptable critique on is the background.
As everyone already said it.. The water. The water kind of looks like toothpaste the way you did it

! But I've seen pictures you've made with much better water, I guess you were only lazy. The nose of the wolf is a bit big, don't you think? Not the snout, just the nose.
Let's talk about the sky, it looks like plain greyish black, when actually, the sky is never one color. It starts off lighter blue at the bottom, then ends with a dark shade of grey-blue or black. So, basically, the sky is a gradient, not a plain color fill. now, the stars look kind of solid, maybe you could blur a few but not all of them, just to make it smoother? You don't have to, that's just a plus. The water should also reflect the sky, not the moonlight. Make it darker next time (:

My lord the trees! The trees are amazing! And the flow of the grass, wow. Not to talk about the shading! The shading is fabulous! The anatomy of the wolf is great, especially coming from a mostly-feline artist. The paws were the first thing I noticed, they are absolutely great, keep it up! Good luck Nev, you're only getting better!

I would say that your technique is amazing and it looks beautiful, but the originality is a little slack. A howling wolf isn't that original, but beautiful. Very beautiful. The impact was nearly perfect, but I looked at the water and it didn't look as real as you could have made it. The shooting stars in the background are perfectly arched to make it look it so I know that you could have made the water just slightly better. The lighting from the moon is perfect, the way it shines down on the wolf is amazing. Your work has always amazed but this blew it out the water.
